Frequently asked questions

What is the break-even point?

The number of units where total revenue equals total cost — you're not making a profit or a loss yet.

What is contribution margin?

Price minus variable cost per unit — the amount each sale contributes toward covering fixed costs.

Why does it say 'no break-even'?

If your price is at or below your variable cost, every sale loses money, so you can never break even at that price.
